Perspective

365 days
x 7 pump times a day
-----
2,555 pumpings for a year
x 45 minutes
----
114,975 minutes of pumping for a year
•/• 60 minute per hour
------
1,916.25 hours of pumping for a year
•/• 24 hours per day
------
79.84 days of pumping for a year
•/• 30 days in a month
------
2.66 months of pumping

Since I did this with Nathan too, if you consider x 2 kids, I will have done:

5110 pumpings
x 45
----
229,950 minutes
•/• 60 minute per hour
------
3832.5 hours
•/• 24 hours per day
------
159.68 days
•/• 30 days in a month
------
5.32 months

(by the way, I did NOT do the math! I'm a graphic designer, I vegged out at 365 days in a year. James is the accountant and although he tried to do it in his head, he soon went for a calculator!)

Yeah, my life sucks right now.

"Yeah, my life sucks right now."

So does your pump (LOL) but that's it's job! :)

Just wanted to say hang in there and keep up the good work!!! Only a few more months to go! You have been an inspiration to me in being able to work/pump just part time, and your encouragement was so helpful at crucial times. I hope and pray that Evan's eating improves, and that he will take to cow's milk at the right time. Our pedi recommended baby yogurt and kefir both before Jamison turned one, so you might ask about those options as well. Even at a year he didn't like cow's milk but would drink kefir and eat yogurt.

Blessings to you and your family,
Bree

Hi Bree!
Thanks for the encouragement and suggestions! I will definitely keep it in mind. Need to find the time to do another update...hopefully soon.
